Sol-silicate protective concrete paint system.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Offers water repellency, vapour permeability and forms a chemical crystalline bond with the substrate. Keim Concreton-W is made using pure inorganic mineral fillers, earth oxide colour pigments and potassium silicate binder.<\/p>\n Field of application<\/b><\/p>\n In-situ and precast concrete elements and structures, blockwork, lightweight concrete, asbestos cement and cementitious building boards. Keim Concreton-W is used to protect concrete surfaces on exterior facades and interior concrete surfaces with a protective action providing protection from water and weathering by silicification and protection from chlorides.<\/p>\n Keim Concreton-W Grof can be used as a ground layer.<\/p>\n Application instructions<\/b><\/p>\n Substrate preparation :<\/p>\n All loose, flaking and unstable material must be identified and then thoroughly removed, all surfaces must be thoroughly washed down with clean cold water to remove all surface dirt and dust. When all surfaces are clean, sound, wind dry, dust free and free from all surface contaminants, decoration using Keim Mineral Paints may proceed.<\/p>\n Application :<\/p>\n Keim Concreton-W should be applied as a two or three coat system, the first coat(s) to be diluted with up to 10% by weight Keim Concreton Dilution and applied by brush or roller, working well into all surfaces. After a minimum period of 12 hours a final coat of Keim Concreton-W may be applied undiluted in a like manner.<\/p>\n Application conditions :<\/p>\n Ambient and substrate temperature above 5\u00b0C and below 30\u00b0C. Do not apply in direct sunlight or onto sun-heated surfaces , nor if it is raining or if there is an immediate likelihood of rain.<\/p>\n Consumption<\/b><\/p>\n 3 coats system with Keim Concreton-W\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n approx. 0,45 kg\/m\u00b2 Keim Concreton-W\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n approx. 0,03 l\/m\u00b2 Keim Concreton Dilution<\/p>\n Cleaning of tools<\/b><\/p>\n Clean immediately after use with water<\/p>\n Packaging<\/b><\/p>\n 5 and 25 kg containers for Keim Concreton-W et Grof<\/p>\n 5 and 20 l for Keim Concreton Dilution<\/p>\n Storage<\/b><\/p>\n 12 months in sealed container under cool, frost-free conditions.
